Job Summary
Jacksonville, FL X-Ray Technologist (Radiologic Technologist) This position involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in a high-acuity surgical environment, with a focus on orthopedic, neuro, vascular, and general surgery cases. The role requires independent support of complex procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Medical Director.

Assignment Dates: 10/26/2026 - 01/23/2027
Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Thursday
Required Qualifications: Must have 3-5 years of experience within the operating room; ability to independently support complex ortho, neuro, vascular, and general surgery cases; level 1 trauma experience required; high school diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; current Florida State Radiologic Technologist License; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification; BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of radiographic procedures, positioning techniques, and radiation safety; ability to operate diagnostic imaging equipment safely and effectively; strong attention to detail and image quality standards; excellent communication and patient care skills; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Additional Information: Support for complex orthopedic and surgical cases in an OR setting, including C-arm equipment management. The assignment may require working in a trauma environment, ensuring regulatory and safety standards are maintained.
