Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist (Radiologic Technologist) in a clinical setting. This role involves preparing patients for vascular or interventional imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the procedure. The technologist provides procedural assistance and patient education to facilitate quality care during interventional radiology processes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week, with on-call requirements.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • One (1) year of vascular or interventional experience.
    • ARRT (R) (Radiologic Technology) registration, or ARRT (R) (Vascular/Interventional radiography certification) with Angiography experience.
    • State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • Radiation badge (dosimeter) required.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • ACLS or PALS certification.
  • Additional Information:
    • Tasks include preparing patients for exams, identifying proper procedures, operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and completing all required documentation.
    • Candidates must demonstrate manual dexterity, strength to lift and assist patients, and ability to navigate busy rooms safely.
    • Maintaining radiation safety protocols and developing knowledge in invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies are essential.
    • Manual dexterity, the ability to stand for extended periods, and excellent communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
    • The assignment runs from 10/05/2026 to 01/02/2027, with a minimum of 0 years of experience required.
