Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer (Ultrasound) in Atlantis, FL. This position involves performing vascular ultrasound procedures in a busy acute care medical-surgical facility with a focus on cardiovascular and vascular assessments. The role requires independent work, critical thinking, and flexibility to work night shifts and weekends.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, start date 10/05/2026, end date 01/04/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Current BLS certification; RDMS and RVT certifications; two or more years of hospital experience as an Ultrasound Tech; location in Atlantis, FL.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification is advantageous but not required; experience with GE, Discovery 450, X-Ray, MRI, and CT equipment; familiarity with Meditech EMR.
- Job Responsibilities: Operate ultrasound equipment utilizing sound waves to create internal body images; produce accurate assessments of bones, organs, tissues, and vascular structures; work independently with minimal supervision.
- Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a critical thinking mindset. The role involves heavy call and requires candidates to work weekends and nights. Dress code is expected to include scrubs in gray.
