Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Pediatrics Night Shift Location unspecified. This position involves providing respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients in a neonatal/pediatric-only hospital with a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and Level 1 trauma designation. The role includes managing ventilated patients on acute care and medical-surgical floors, with scheduled shifts during the nights. The assignment is scheduled to start on 11/01/2026 and end on 01/30/2027, requiring flexibility to work every other weekend and holidays as per department needs.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 11.5 hours per shift, minimum of 34.5 hours per week
- Start Date: 11/01/2026
- End Date: 01/30/2027
- Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapist (RT) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), 0 years of experience, location requirements as specified in the job order, and must have pediatric experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Additional Information: Must have pediatric experience. The facility has a Level 3 NICU, a PICU, and is a Level 1 trauma center. There are often ventilated patients on the Acute Care and Medical-Surgical floors. The role requires working nights, every other weekend, and holidays based on departmental needs. Submission must include professional profile, license/certificate verification, professional references, and skills checklist.
