Description
Job Summary:
Mammographer position in Gresham, Oregon. This role involves performing specialized mammography examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. The incumbent will operate specialized equipment, ensure patient comfort and safety, and collaborate with radiologists to produce high-quality images, supporting the organizations commitment to whole-person care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R); American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography (ARRT-M); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; at least 1 year of relevant experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a Mammography Technologist; certification in BLS from an approved vendor
- Essential Functions: Educates patients about the procedure, maintains privacy and comfort, follows infection control and safety guidelines, performs diagnostic or screening mammograms as ordered, assists Radiologist with intricate examinations including breast biopsies, produces high-quality films, documents procedures thoroughly, gathers pertinent patient information, disseminates preparation instructions, and escalates significant challenges to senior staff.
- Additional Information: Floating to Gresham station may be required. The position begins on 09/28/2026 and ends on 12/27/2026.
