Description

Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position in a short-term acute care facility offering specialized imaging services. The role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, including abdominal, neuro, chest, and pediatric studies, with a focus on patient safety and image quality. The position requires adherence to hospital protocols and collaborative care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 9-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Siemens MRI experience, valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of radiology or MRI experience, reliable transportation within 50 miles, and proficiency in EPIC charting system required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T and GE SIGNA HDe 1.5T, prior work in trauma-level II facilities, proficiency in advanced MRI protocols and patient positioning, and experience floating between units or facilities
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: This role requires working Thursday through Wednesday, with on-call responsibilities one night per week from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Candidates must demonstrate EPIC system experience as it is a hard stop requirement. The position includes coverage for weekends, with some holidays expected per contract, and involves handling a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Prior to starting, candidates must provide two references covering a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience within the last 3 years. Candidates may be required to perform duties across various units that utilize Siemens MRI equipment and need to respond promptly to patient needs.
