Description
Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a healthcare facility in a designated location. This role involves providing diagnostic nuclear medicine services in accordance with departmental protocols, including administering isotopes, operating imaging equipment, and processing films. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting imaging procedures under the supervision of radiologists, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostics.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, shift hours approximately 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or equivalent, valid state licensure as a general radiographer or NMT, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of clinical experience with cardiac procedures and nuclear medicine technology. The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited program AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Experience with Cedars Sinai software, dual-head CorCams, cardiolites, isolated Mugas, and amyloid studies is preferred.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include administering nuclear isotopes, operating scan equipment such as CoronCams, managing floods, QC, and processing films. Candidate must be flexible to work early in the morning to receive isotopes and perform necessary procedures promptly.
