Description
Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist LaCrosse, Wisconsin. This position involves providing radiation therapy treatments using Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting a variety of external beam treatment procedures. The schedule consists of 8-hour daytime shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour days (7:30 AM 4:00 PM), with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (RT) certification, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification, 3-5+ years of radiation therapy experience, Associate Degree or Certificate, location in LaCrosse, WI, minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting experience.
- Responsibilities include delivering external beam radiation treatments, operating Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, and maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Holiday rotation requirements: None.
- Shift notes: 8-hour days.
- Additional Information: Candidate must start the medical compliance portion within 48 hours of accepted offer, or 24 hours for a quick start. The traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays when the unit is closed.
