Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General (Ultrasound Technologist) position available in the local area. This role involves performing routine and specialized sonography procedures of moderate complexity to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. The sonographer works independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to deliver accurate results efficiently. The position requires effective communication with patients and healthcare providers, adherence to all relevant regulations, and possibly supervising or orienting other staff members.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or possession of ARDMS (American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification; valid Basic Life Support (BLS) healthcare provider certification; at least 0 years of relevant experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: The role involves responding to hospital emergencies, performing diagnostic sonography procedures, maintaining patient safety and privacy, and utilizing various imaging and electronic health record systems.
