Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (SNF) in a skilled nursing facility setting. The role involves assisting with the delivery of physical therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and patient education to support recovery and improve functional independence. The position emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and adherence to clinical guidelines to ensure quality care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state Physical Therapist (PT) license required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; 0 years of experience minimum, but 2 years of experience highly desired.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting is preferred.
• Additional Information: Implements patient treatment plans, assists with therapeutic interventions such as gait training and strengthening exercises, monitors patient responses, documents progress, and provides patient and family education. Maintains safety standards, participates in team activities, and adheres to facility policies for infection control and patient safety. Completes ongoing continuing education to stay current with best practices.
