Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (Occupational Therapist Inpatient) in a healthcare setting. Responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising occupational therapy treatments according to current standards and regulations. Focuses on patient safety, interdisciplinary collaboration, and delivering high-quality patient care within a team environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid, current State license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift; minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Additional Information: The occupational therapist assesses patient functioning, develops treatment plans, supervises support staff and students, and participates in discharge planning. Completes all documentation accurately, evaluates patient progress, and maintains safety protocols in all activities. Collaborates effectively with interdisciplinary team members and provides patient and family education. Demonstrates a strong understanding of safety techniques and adheres to facility guidelines regarding appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
