Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo in a healthcare setting located in an acute care environment. This position involves performing echocardiography examinations including stress echoes, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and vascular studies such as carotid, venous, and arterial assessments. The role requires delivering high-quality imaging to support patient diagnosis and care, operating within a fast-paced department with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Job Details:

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities approximately once a week. Weekend and holiday call may be required, with on-call duties every 5-6th weekend.
Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification; Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; Location in a healthcare setting; Certification to submit; Valid license required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Phillips ultrasound equipment; familiarity with EPIC charting system.
Additional Information: Department utilizes Phillips radiology equipment and performs approximately 25-30 scans/studies daily. The department operates within a Level 2 trauma setting, with in-house cardiologist support.
Schedule: Start date 09/28/2026, end date 12/28/2026; minimum 40 hours per week.
