Description

Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position located at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing respiratory care and support to pediatric and adult patients in various hospital units, including medical floors, critical care, and emergency departments. The position requires working night shifts with a focus on delivering specialized respiratory therapy procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Active Respiratory Therapist (RT) license, pediatric experience with delivery of respiratory procedures, specific licensures (RT), BLS Certification, NRP Certification, at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ventilators (Avea, Puritan Bennett 840, 3100 B HFOV, VentiPac), non-invasive ventilators (V60, VisionIPV), and blood gas analysis.
  • Additional Information:
    • Must be willing to float to other hospital units and departments as needed.
    • Candidates should be able to handle 12-14 treatments in a 4-hour round and manage 4-5 ventilators concurrently.
    • Dress code includes scrubs; facial piercings should be limited to earrings, and tattoos must be covered.
    • The unit provides a precepted shift to introduce patient care protocols, charting, and supply locations.
    • Certification requirements include BLS and NRP.
