Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) position in a day shift setting within a healthcare facility. This role involves providing outpatient physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, including assessments, treatment, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team. The position supports a one-year orthopedic residency program, offering clinical training and skill development in outpatient orthopedic care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 12/26/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent qualifying degree), licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, intermediate computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows), EPIC electronic medical record system experience (candidate must pass an EPIC assessment on first day). No prior experience required beyond fulfilling licensing, certification, and educational requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: More than 3 years of outpatient orthopedic experience, knowledge of orthopedic surgeries and post-operative rehabilitation protocols, strong communication and team collaboration skills, experience treating orthopedic and sports medicine patients.
• Additional Information: The role requires adherence to state licensure laws and professional practice guidelines, including those established by the Florida Board of Examiners and the organization. Responsibilities include performing patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, providing effective therapy interventions, documentation, and participating in clinical management and facility responsibilities. Significant emphasis on demonstrating ethical practices, ongoing professional development, and team collaboration.
