Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited school, CAPTE certification, 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience, CPR certification
• Preferred Qualifications: No additional preferred qualifications specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The position involves assisting in therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening exercises, balance activities, gait training, and the use of assistive devices. The assistant will perform modalities like whirlpools, ultrasound, and therapeutic pools, monitor patient responses, and maintain documentation. Responsibilities also include patient education on body mechanics, equipment use, and safety standards, as well as collaborating with the healthcare team to enhance patient care and participating in quality improvement projects.
