Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) with inpatient specialty is needed at a healthcare facility in Rome, Georgia. This position involves providing physical therapy services primarily focused on orthopedics, neurological disorders, post-operative care, and other common diagnoses. The role offers a day shift schedule and a dynamic work environment within a full-service hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Rome, Georgia
• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• End Date: 12/26/2026
• Required Qualifications: Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia, BLS certification, 0 or more years of relevant experience, ability to treat a variety of diagnoses independently, and experience with EMR systems (EPIC).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience handling modified Barium Swallow tests and FEEs assessments.
• Support within the Department: The rehabilitation department consists of over 20 team members, including therapists and aides, working collaboratively daily.
• Technology/Equipment: Electronic Medical Records system, specific equipment such as Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEEs) available for qualified cases.
• Orientation: 3-5 days of departmental and facility orientation based on relevant experience.
• Other Notes: Scrub color is light grey (approved list), free parking, and no weekend rotation or on-call expectations.
