Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in acute care located in Ahoskie, North Carolina. This position involves outpatient and acute care responsibilities, with the majority of the caseload focused on pediatric patients, along with some adult cases. The role requires proficiency in Videofluoroscopic Swallow Study (VFSS) and Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS). The therapist will work on a schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with weekend on-call duties every third weekend for NPO orders.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Days
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Speech Language Pathology, North Carolina state license, minimum 12 years of experience in speech pathology, no minimum experience required, and location requirements within 50-80 miles of the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric outpatient caseloads, proficiency in MBSS and VFSS procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Outpatient caseload comprises approximately 70% pediatric patients and 30% adults. The clinician will primarily work in outpatient settings but will also be responsible for acute care duties involving all adult patients. The position requires the ability to perform MBSS and VFSS assessments, and the assignment duration is approximately 13 weeks, starting on 10/19/2026, ending on 01/17/2027.
