Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a pediatric and adult critical care setting. The position involves providing specialized respiratory therapy services, including ventilator management, airway management, and patient assessments, across ICU and rehab units. The role requires flexibility in different clinical environments and adherence to departmental protocols.
Job Details:
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); relevant licensure; minimum of 1 year adult critical care experience; willingness to learn pediatric respiratory care.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Floating: Float rotation may be required; candidate may be asked to float to Frazier Rehab (on the same campus).
- Orientation: Two shifts of departmental orientation.
- Additional Information: The role involves managing adult ventilators, oxygen therapy, aerosol/MDI treatments, tracheostomy care, CPT, suctioning, PEP therapy, ABG, and ABLS. Flexibility is essential to meet departmental needs.
- Schedule cycle: The schedule is made a month at a time.
- Other notes: Scrub color is Ceil Blue; free parking lot with badge access.
