Description

Job Summary:
X-ray Technologist position located in Nebraska. This role involves performing fluoroscopy and diagnostic X-ray procedures on inpatients and emergency department patients, including portable X- rays on patient floors. The candidate will also handle C-Arm procedures within an acute care setting. The assignment requires adaptability across various departments, including trauma and diagnostic units, with a focus on trauma level I experience.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour day shifts; 12 hours of call per month required; holidays as needed and scheduled
  • Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years in clinical setting with trauma experience preferred; ARRT (R), AHA BLS, Nebraska license; proficient in trauma, imaging, portable X-rays, fluoroscopy (minimal but possible), C-Arm procedures; Nebraska licensed; experience with ultrasound and fluoroscopy preferred; good team skills and adaptability required
  • Equipment utilized in the unit/departments: Rad rooms, portable X-ray, C-Arms, R/F, IT equipment, McKesson PACS, Centricity RIS, EPIC EMR
  • Additional Information: Orientation includes approximately 12 hours of non-billable training; self-starter with excellent team skills preferred; initial training will involve departmental on-the-job education beginning with NEO. The candidate must be comfortable floating between departments, including emergency and diagnostic units; approximately 20-25 patients per shift in emergency department; no support staff except on floors; dress code is red, with hospital scrubs provided for surgery.
