Description

Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist position in a fast-paced, Level II trauma center located in Reno, Nevada. The role involves providing high-quality nuclear medicine data for diagnostic interpretation, working with state-of-the-art equipment, and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care across all age groups. The position requires flexibility to float within the department and potentially work major holidays and additional shifts as needed.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm (rotating days); minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in BLS (American Heart Association), two years of nuclear medicine experience, prior travel experience, NV State License (must be in hand before start date).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a trauma center or similar high-paced environment.
  • Additional Information: May be required to float to meet department needs up to individual competency levels. Occasional work on major holidays and extra shifts may be necessary. This role involves working with advanced scintillation cameras, computers, and other support equipment, with responsibilities including minor clerical duties and equipment maintenance coordination. Participation in the call schedule will be at the discretion of the Supervisor during times of short staffing.
