Respiratory Therapist, Pediatric (RT PEDS) for a healthcare facility located in the area. This position involves delivering high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients, including evaluation, treatment planning, and execution of physician-prescribed respiratory procedures. The role emphasizes patient education, equipment operation, and collaboration with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) registered, Bachelor's degree or equivalent, valid state licensure, 0 years of experience, and ability to work night shifts
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience is preferred, along with BLS and ACLS certifications
• Additional Information: Performs a wide range of respiratory procedures including ventilator management, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, arterial punctures, and assisting with advanced procedures like bronchoscopy and chest tube placement. Maintains accurate documentation of patient treatments and responses, ensures equipment functionality, and collaborates closely with physicians. The role requires adherence to all clinical policies and protocols, including laboratory testing procedures and emergency response protocols.
