Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) located in the region. This role involves providing high-quality diagnostic, therapeutic, and critical care to neonatal patients, including assessments, treatments, and family support. The position requires performing evaluations, documenting care, and ensuring patient safety within established clinical guidelines.

Job Details:

Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist credential from the North Dakota State Board of Respiratory Care and the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS certification from the American Heart Association; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from RQI Partners; 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, with at least 1 year in NICU settings
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neonatal intensive care environments and familiarity with electronic medical record systems
Additional Information: The Respiratory Therapist will perform patient assessments, deliver therapies, and assist physicians. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, infant transport within referral systems, and documentation of all clinical activities.
