Description
Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Clinician in a Level II Trauma Center setting. This position involves performing a variety of advanced imaging-guided procedures including cerebral angiography, stroke intervention, biopsies, and venous access. The role requires collaboration with a team of radiologists and surgeons in a busy, multi-room IR suite, with an emphasis on maintaining sterile technique and managing complex interventional procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Location: Facilities equipped with 3 single-plane IR rooms, 1 biplane, and 1 hybrid room, along with radiology and CT rooms
- Required Qualifications: Two or more years of experience in contrast interventional radiology, angiography, and special procedures. Certifications include BLS, ARRT Radiography, VA State License or equivalent, and ARRT VI. Ability to manage ports, perform angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, biopsies, and venous access.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ablations and kyphoplasty procedures
- Additional Information: Candidates must be available to start on 10/12/2026, with a commitment through 01/11/2027. Willingness to be on-call 5-7 days per month, with the possibility of floating between units as needed. Must work 3 of the 5 designated holidays and adhere to scheduled RTO requests as specified during submission.
