Description
Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician position located in a regional healthcare facility. The role involves supporting a team of specialized radiologists and surgeons in performing a variety of interventional and diagnostic procedures in a busy operating room and radiology environment. This position requires a dedicated professional to assist with complex imaging procedures, providing quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, start date 10/12/2026, end date 01/11/2027
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ARRT Registry, Washington State License; 0 years of experience minimum; valid license in the state of practice; no local radius restrictions; experience with contrast IR/Angio/Special Procedures required
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with biopsies, ablations, kyphoplasty, angigrams, nephogram, venous access procedures, and use of C-Arm equipment
- Additional Information: Candidates should be willing to work in a Level II Trauma Center environment with a diverse team, supporting various interventional procedures such as cerebral angiography, stroke intervention, Y90, chemoembolization, cryoablation, venography, biopsies, venous access, gastrostomy, and drain placements. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 recognized holidays and be flexible with call requirements (5-7 days per month). References covering at least 6 months within the last 3 years are required. All scheduling and specific RTO requests must be specified during submittal.
