Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray procedures, working in a healthcare setting. The position involves performing diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable imaging studies as requested by physicians to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The role requires providing patient care tailored to different age groups and collaborating effectively within a clinical team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the American Medical Association; CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) certificate and Fluoroscopy license; ARRT registration or eligibility; current BLS/Healthcare Provider status per American Heart Association standards; valid drivers license; at least one (1) year of experience as a licensed technologist; Epic experience for a minimum of six (6) months within the past year
- Preferred Qualifications: N/A
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures such as chest, extremities, spines, catheter placements, etc. Assists patients during procedures, transports patients safely, and reports any equipment malfunctions. May give contrast media and flush lines with normal saline, under physician supervision. Attends department meetings and in-services regularly.
