Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) for a facility located in a rural setting. The position involves providing outpatient therapy services with a focus on orthopedic cases, although due to the setting, there may be opportunities to work with a variety of patient presentations, including some light neuro cases. The assignment offers a flexible schedule with a typical shift duration of 8 hours, working days only, with no weekends required.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, hours vary based on the patient schedule, with shifts scheduled during daytime hours, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license as a Physical Therapist, graduate degree in Physical Therapy, at least 2 years of outpatient clinical experience, and successful completion of all applicable certifications and educational requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy, familiarity with Prompt electronic medical record system, and ability to adapt to a variety of clinical settings.
• Additional Information: The candidate will be responsible for managing a patient load with a schedule of one patient every 45 minutes. The facility currently has two physical therapists and two physical therapist assistants, with occasional staffing of four PTs. No aides or additional tech staff are present, so the therapist may be required to perform other clinical duties as needed.
