Job Summary
Ultrasonographer Echo Day shift Starting 10/12/2026, for a duration of approximately three months. This role involves performing and acquiring structurally normal cardiac ultrasound studies, assisting with complex congenital cardiac assessments, and collaborating with laboratory leadership to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging across a varied patient population and hospital environments.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 10/12/2026 to 01/09/2027
• Required Qualifications & Experience: Successful completion of an accredited cardiac ultrasound program; Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Congenital Cardiovascular Sonographer (RCCS) credential with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); knowledge of ultrasound diagnostic procedures and equipment/instrumentation; ability to interpret physician instructions and patient medical records; ability to perform echocardiography on varied patient populations; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and cardiac pathology; effective communication skills; ability to work as part of a team; proficiency with PACS networks and ultrasound physics.

• Additional Information: Responsible for reviewing indications for exams, maintaining equipment functionality, ensuring infection prevention, creating a warm environment for patients, obtaining diagnostic images, reviewing and presenting echocardiographic studies with physicians, documenting findings accurately, and ensuring proper archiving on the cardiology PACS network. Participation in quality improvement meetings and outreach clinics may be required. Engagement in outreach clinics, weekend, holiday coverage, and on-call services as assigned are part of the role.
