Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) providing therapy services in a long-term care setting. The role involves evaluating and rehabilitating patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care, developing treatment plans according to regulatory and clinical standards. The position supports patient recovery through evidence-based interventions and clinical documentation.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours daily, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Missouri state license, one year of physical therapy experience including long-term care or rehabilitation settings, and graduation from an accredited physical therapy program. New graduates are eligible provided they possess Level II experience and are not limited to Level I observation experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with patients in skilled nursing facilities is highly preferred.
• Additional Information: Effectively screens, evaluates, and rehabilitates patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care. Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions. Administers procedures such as manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, supportive/supportive device use, and wound care. Assesses patient progress, modifies treatment plans accordingly, and documents care in compliance with regulatory standards. Participates in team meetings, training sessions, and completes documentation required for regulatory and clinical purposes. Supervises and supports rehabilitation aides, students, and assistive personnel as needed. Adheres to professional conduct, practice acts, and ethics per the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and state regulations.
