Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) The position is located within a critical access hospital setting and involves administering physical therapy treatments in accordance with standard physical therapy practices. The role requires ensuring patient care aligns with physician orders, maintaining compliance with hospital policies, and supervising treatment staff. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced inpatient environment with a focus on patient recovery and team collaboration.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, starting 10/12/2026 and ending 01/10/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from a four-year accredited college or university in physical therapy or a related field; 2 years related experience and/or training; valid California physical therapy license or eligibility for registration; current BLS course completion; current California drivers license when travel is required; evidence of automobile insurance when travel is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient care; member of APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) is preferred.
• Additional Information: The physical demands include frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. The work environment involves potential exposure to blood and body fluids categorized as Category 3; no procedures or tasks involving direct exposure to blood or body fluids are routine. Candidate will participate in case conferences, document patient evaluations within 24 hours, and coordinate care with team members. Supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants and aides is required.
