Job Summary
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position in a skilled nursing facility setting located in Texas. This role involves providing rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA is responsible for executing treatment plans, assessing patient progress, documenting care, and collaborating closely with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 10/19/2026 and ending 01/18/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas; Bachelors Degree or higher in Physical Therapist Assistant program; 1 year of PTA experience required. New graduates with Level II experience are encouraged to apply; experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehab facilities preferred; familiarity with electronic documentation systems and regulatory documentation requirements.
• Additional Information: The role includes participation in care conferences, team meetings, trainings, and supervision of students under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. Candidates must adhere to ethical standards and practice acts as outlined by the APTA and state regulations.
