Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in a teaching and Level I trauma healthcare facility. This role involves performing complex cardiac interventions, utilizing advanced equipment such as OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, drug-coated balloons, CTO techniques, Impella device deployment, and other specialized procedures. Candidates should have experience in both cardiac cath labs and angiography, with scrub experience.

Job Details

• Schedule: 4x10 hour days, Monday to Friday, from 0700 to 1730, totaling at least 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Oregon State license or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting, ACLS, ARRT-R, BLS certifications. Experience in cardiac stent placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations (adults and pediatrics), intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) placement/removal, Impella insertion, interpretation of dysrhythmias, interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, and use of advanced imaging equipment such as OCT and IVUS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience required; previous experience in a teaching and Level I trauma setting is advantageous.
• Additional Information:
  • This position requires previous scrub experience and being the first assistant to the operator during complex cardiac procedures.
  • The lab features brand new systems, Philips Azurion imaging, and dedicated staff including EVS and turn-over personnel.
  • Candidates must complete all compliance documentation before the start date, with modules and skills testing as per policy.
  • RTO approval is limited to a maximum of 7 days, with no RTO permitted during the first two weeks of assignment.
  • Local travelers are not accepted; candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of any facility within the healthcare organization.
  • References from clinicians such as Charge Nurses or Supervisors within the last year are required, along with background clearance showing no felony convictions.
  • The assignment begins on 10/12/2026 and ends on 01/11/2027.
