Job Summary:
A Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position is available in a healthcare setting, focusing on pediatric respiratory care. The role entails providing specialized respiratory therapy services to a diverse patient population, including neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in an acute care environment. This position requires flexibility and teamwork to meet the operational needs of the department over the assignment duration.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); preferred certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Education requirements include a valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) credential and relevant training in pediatric respiratory care. This position requires 0 years of experience, with a minimum of 3+ years of related clinical experience preferred.
Additional Information: The role involves working every other weekend and participating in call rotations (approximately one call shift per month), with work schedules determined based on department operational needs. Candidates must have experience in acute, critical care pediatrics, NICU, and PICU settings, with some familiarity in adult critical care. Flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented personality are essential. Scrub attire is provided or can be flexible, and the dress code is uniform.
Willing to review clinicians with pending state license.
