Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist, Kansas City, MO This position involves working within a 490-bed unit specializing in Radiation Oncology. The role requires delivering advanced radiation treatments, including VMAT, 3D treatments, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), and emergency procedures. The Radiation Therapist will operate state-of-the-art equipment such as Truebeam and iX, following established protocols and documentation procedures to ensure quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Radiation Therapist certification with ARRT board certification, minimum of 0 years of experience, familiarity with OBI- KV, MV, CBCT procedures, and documentation systems Mosaiq and Meditech. Must be licensed or eligible to work in the state.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Truebeam linear accelerators and Oncology Systems Management System (OSMS) is preferred.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing VMAT and 3D treatments, emergency treatments including but not limited to SVC syndrome, heterotopic bone, whole brain treatment, and spinal cord compression. The candidate must adhere to a dress code of grey or charcoal grey scrubs. The unit boasts new equipment and technology, with staff experienced in advanced treatment techniques.
