Job Summary:
Dietitian (Specialty: DIET) in New York. This inpatient clinical position involves providing nutritional care across various med/surg and ICU units, serving an inpatient population primarily consisting of adults with occasional pediatrics. The role supports a busy teaching hospital with a census of approximately 400 patients.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 7.5 hours per day, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid New York State license, Registered Dietitian (RD) certification, at least 1 year of inpatient clinical experience, acute care experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Categorical Dietetics (CDN), Olive green scrubs or neat business casual attire
- Additional Information: The position involves managing a typical caseload of 8-12 patients per day in both adult and occasional pediatric inpatient settings, with a focus on diverse chronic and acute conditions.
