Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position located in Rhinebeck, NY. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care on the night shift within a rural hospital setting, managing a diverse patient population from high-risk deliveries to trauma cases. The preferred candidate will work independently and handle advanced respiratory equipment, contributing to comprehensive patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/12/2026 to 01/09/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT), New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) License, at least 3 years of experience, newborn care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: 5 or more years of experience, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Additional Information: The role involves operating ventilators, bipaps, high flows, and all oxygen delivery systems. The facility does not have a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) but manages high-risk deliveries and trauma patients. On-call backup service is available for support.
