Description

Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Augusta, GA. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care for pediatric patients in a busy hospital unit. The role requires strong technical skills and the ability to perform procedures such as vent management, CPAP, ABG analysis, and operating Hiflo equipment, supporting the hospitals commitment to advanced patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT RRT), valid state licensure if applicable, current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). No minimum years of experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory procedures, familiarity with vent management, CPAP, ABG analysis, and Hiflo equipment.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be capable of performing procedures on vent, CPAP, ABG, and Hiflo equipment. The unit uses Meditech documentation system, and staff should adhere to unit-specific policies and dress code, which includes maroon scrubs or facility scrubs. This position is for a single vacancy starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
