Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (OP) for a healthcare organization in an outpatient setting. This position involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans in accordance with physician directives, and providing quality therapy services aimed at facilitating patient recovery and functional independence. The role emphasizes patient safety, professional development, and adherence to organizational standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or higher degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; one or more years of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; valid state licensure in good standing; ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with orthopedic cases preferred.
• Additional Information: Completes comprehensive patient evaluations, develops individualized treatment plans, and maintains accurate, timely medical records in compliance with federal, state, and organizational guidelines. Participates in student supervision and professional development activities. Adheres to all clinical safety standards, including safe patient handling, infectious disease protocols, and slips/trips/falls prevention. Demonstrates an understanding of performance improvement initiatives and actively contributes to quality enhancement efforts.
