Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine is needed in an acute care setting. This role involves performing detailed ultrasound studies including anatomy scans, BPP, growth assessments, Doppler evaluations, and twin studies in a fast-paced, high-risk environment. The position offers an opportunity to work across multiple locations, supporting a diverse patient population with a focus on high-quality imaging and patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch, or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, a minimum of 2 years experience in maternal fetal ultrasound, valid license to submit, and location-specific credentials.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-risk obstetric sonography and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additional Information: The department has multiple ultrasound machines including GE and Phillips models across four sites. Typical caseload is 8-10 studies per day, focusing exclusively on high-risk maternal fetal imaging. Scrubs are not provided but may be worn in any color. Department orientation will be coordinated with clinical managers.
  • Notes: The position begins on 10/12/2026 and concludes on 01/11/2027. No radiologist in-house, and no need to start IVs. No weekend, holiday, call, or standby responsibilities are required.
