Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Technician assignment in a Level II trauma, magnet facility. This role involves assisting with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional cardiac procedures, and electrophysiology studies. The position requires a commitment to patient care in a busy hospital environment with a focus on specialized cardiac procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), with a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with accurate monitoring, electrophysiology evaluation, cardiac mapping, and use of Philips X-Ray System, atherectomy, thrombectomy devices, and temporary LVAD support.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Support Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Cardiac procedures, STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, Structural Heart interventions such as PFO, TAVR, and Mitral Clip. Experience in Interventional Radiology, neurointervention, and vascular access preferred.
• Additional Information: The EP team may have call responsibilities from 6-8 pm if the clinician has gone home. Typically, call involvement is rare. Some Saturday shifts are part of the regular schedule. Flexibility to float within scope to support facility needs; block scheduling options are available. Priority is given to candidates willing to work a minimum of 2 major holidays. Valid state license required; pending licenses accepted with an estimated processing time of 10-12 weeks. No local candidates accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
