Description
Job Summary
Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist position available at a magnet and level II trauma facility. This role involves performing diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional cardiac procedures, and neurointerventional procedures within a high-acuity hospital setting. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/26/2026 and will last approximately 26 weeks, with a 10-hour shift schedule during days.
Job Details
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026, ending 04/26/2027
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (pending acceptable), BLS and ACLS certifications, 2 years of experience, proficiency in accurate monitoring, electrophysiology evaluation, catheterization procedures, and use of Epic charting system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiac procedures, neurointerventional procedures, and familiarity with Philips X-Ray System and Atherectomy and Thrombectomy Devices.
- Call Requirements: On-call from 6-8 pm when the clinician has gone home; late team stays until cases are complete, with very rare callbacks.
- Weekend Requirement: Some Saturdays are part of the regular schedule, not additional shifts.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Travel compliance and references are required, along with documentation of certifications and specific charting experience using Epic.
