Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist position is based in an acute care healthcare facility. This assignment involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures related to cardiac catheterization, vascular, and neurointerventional services. The role requires the application of specialized skills in a fast-paced environment to support patient care and procedural success.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 10/26/2026 and ending on 04/26/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). No minimum experience required. Valid state license preferred; candidates with pending licenses may be considered.
• Certifications Needed: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS - must be current.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be willing to work scheduled weekends, including one shift per week and every fourth weekend on call. No float to external facilities; float within hospital departments is permitted. Time off requests are managed on an individual basis. The position involves performing complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angios, embolizations, vein access, and neurointerventional services. The candidate needs to demonstrate accurate monitoring, procedural skills, and familiarity with advanced imaging and device placement.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electrophysiology, neurointerventional procedures, and vascular access is highly regarded. Familiarity with Philips X-ray systems, atherectomy, thrombectomy devices, and temporary LVAD support is preferred.
• Additional Notes: Candidates must submit references covering the past year, demonstrate knowledge of charting systems like Epic, and be prepared for on-call duties. The assignment requires working in a team-oriented environment, adhering to sterile techniques, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
