Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Arlington, TX. This position involves providing critical respiratory care to pediatric patients within a general adult critical care setting. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of managing complex respiratory needs, working on night shifts, and adhering to hospital policies and protocols.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours
• Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• End Date: 01/18/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license, minimum experience of 0 years, willingness to work night shifts, and eligibility to work in the specified location.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Pediatric Respiratory Care, advanced airway management skills, and familiarity with Meditech documentation system.
• Special Skills/Experience: At least 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy, with preference given to candidates skilled in pediatric respiratory procedures and patient care.
• Certifications Required: Valid respiratory therapy license, and pediatric emergency or critical care certifications are preferred.
• Procedures Performed on Unit: Mechanical ventilation management, aerosol therapy, arterial blood gas sampling, intubation support, and other advanced respiratory interventions.
• Patient Experience: Experience working with pediatric and adult critical care patients preferred.
• Dress Code: Clean scrubs; RN: neat and professional appearance.
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
• Hair: Neat, clean, with hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
• Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible.
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
• Floating: As needed in accordance with hospital policies.
• Attendance Policies: The organizations company-wide attendance policy will be followed.
