Description

Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer specializing in Ultrasound (ULTRA VT) at a healthcare facility. This role involves performing vascular ultrasounds in inpatient and outpatient settings, with responsibilities including maintaining accreditation standards and submitting bi-annual quality improvements. The position requires a highly skilled professional with experience in arterial, venous, and abdominal duplex imaging.

Job Details:

  • Shift Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience in vascular ultrasound, with proficiency in IAC protocols and procedures, including maintaining accreditation and bi-annual improvements. Valid certifications: Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS), and AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required at submission.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Renal, Mesenteric, Abdominal, Arterial Duplex, AV fistula duplex and mapping for AVF, Carotid and Temporal artery duplex, ABI, TBI, PVR including cold immersions. Familiarity with Parks Flolab and GE Logiq E10 equipment.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required, with the position spanning between two hospitals from Monday to Thursday at one location and Friday at another.
  • Additional Information: The candidate will perform procedures within IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) protocols, ensuring accreditation standards are maintained and improvements are submitted bi-annually.
