Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General position available at a healthcare provider in the breast care setting. The role involves performing breast imaging procedures, including mammography and ultrasound, in a specialized center. The position requires experience in breast imaging and offers a consistent daytime schedule with no weekends, holidays, or call obligations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, at the breast care center. Total hours per week: 40.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS Certification and Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Breast (RDMS-BR) via ARDMS. Candidates must have at least 1 year of breast imaging experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Breast ultrasound experience is necessary; MRI or radiology licenses (e.g., ARRT Breast certification) may be preferred but are not mandatory.
• Additional Information: No clinical involvement with other departments. The role involves performing approximately 25 mammography and 16 ultrasound scans daily in a no-float environment. EMR system used is CERNER. No RRA's are required. Orientation lasts for one week. The start date is 12/07/2026, with an end date of 03/08/2027.
• Notes: The position does not include RRA certification or radiologist in-house. IV insertion is a plus but not required. The role is in an acute care setting with a focus on breast imaging, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties.
