Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting. This position involves performing all interventional radiology procedures, including neuro interventional procedures as part of a comprehensive stroke center. The role requires working primarily during day shifts with on-call responsibilities, including weekend and holiday shifts. The ideal candidate will have prior IR experience with neuro IR skills preferred.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, four 10-hour days per week. On-call around 8 shifts every 6 weeks, including 1 weekend.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Interventional Radiology (CI), ARRT certification, ARRT Radiologic Technologist license to submit, BLS (AHA) certification, a minimum of 2 years of IR experience, and relevant specialty certifications such as VI or CV certifications are a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro IR experience is preferred.
• Experience or 'Must have' skills: Prior interventional radiology experience required. Neuro IR preferred.
• Department-Specific Equipment: Siemens and Phillips imaging equipment.
• EMR System: EPIC.
• Team: In-house radiologists daytime and on-call nights and weekends.
• Responsibilities: Performing all IR procedures, supporting neuro IR procedures, and working in a department with four rooms including neuro IR.
• Additional Information: Department orientation includes 1-2 shifts or as needed; hospital policies allow cancellations up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments. Call response time is 30 minutes. Scrubs are hospital-provided.
