Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) for a healthcare provider located in an urban setting. This specialized role involves providing respiratory therapy to pediatric patients, including diagnostic testing, hemodynamics, and complex procedures. The position requires expert proficiency in handling intricate cases, along with the ability to mentor and teach others in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Respiratory Therapy, valid state licensure, no minimum experience required, and located within the specified state or region
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory care and teaching/mentoring skills
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will perform all types of respiratory care including diagnostic testing, treadmills, complete pulmonary function tests, ABG machine maintenance, hemodynamics, special procedures, and electrogastrography (ENGs). The position involves providing complex respiratory care to pediatric patients and may require handling multiple cases simultaneously, mentoring staff, and adhering to clinical protocols.
