Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CT) Puyallup, WA. This position involves providing specialized technical support within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, focusing on diagnostic and interventional procedures such as LHC/RHC, NSTEMI and STEMI management, Impella, IABPs, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temporary pacers, peripheral diagnostic/interventions, loop recorders, and electrophysiology cases including Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes. The role requires working with a highly skilled team in a Level III Trauma Center with 375 licensed beds, supporting a busy cath lab environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, with rotations including early shifts (e.g., 0600-1630 or 0700-1730) depending on on-call needs. On-call duties are scheduled once per week on weekdays (Monday-Thursday) until 0700, and every 6th weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) until Monday at 0700.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); ARRT or RCIS License; current Washington State Licensure; 2 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization Lab procedures, with a minimum of 1 year preferred if travel experience is prior; experience with specified cases, scrub and operate tables simultaneously, monitoring skills preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic medical records, Alaris infusion pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Merge hemodynamic systems. Ability to float to additional cath lab sites, including Auburn, may be required once per week if needed.
• Additional Information: The first day will include NEO training with the employee's assigned organization, followed by departmental training. Ability to take buddy call during the first week and independently thereafter is available. The team includes 2 techs and 1 RN during call, with a 30-minute response time. Scrubs will be provided; parking is free in the garage. Candidate must have a positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
