Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in the pediatric intensive care unit is responsible for providing specialized respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. This position requires at least a minimum of two years of general respiratory therapist experience and proficiency in NICU skills, including CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and the use of Hamilton C1 ventilators. The role involves working night shifts on a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NICU experience with at least two years of general RT experience. Candidate must possess NICU-specific skills such as CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and Hamilton C1 ventilator experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification is preferred, but can be obtained after hire.
• Procedures performed on unit: Ventilation management using Hamilton C1, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, oxygen therapy, airway management.
• Dress Code: All black scrubs.
