Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) position located in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This role involves treating a diverse patient population, including geriatric, pediatric, neurological, and orthopedic cases. The position offers a standard schedule of eight-hour days, with flexibility in start times, focusing on patient care during weekday shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour days, with variable start times discussed during the interview; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Michigan license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated; BLS (AHA); minimum of 1 year of related experience; EMR experience with Epic; valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Additional Information:
  • Department notes: Treat 7-10 patients per day.
  • Department-specific orientation includes 1-2 shifts, Epic training, and mentorship as needed.
  • Inpatient rehab care setting with a lead therapist available on each shift.
  • Staffing includes one rehab technician to assist with patient care and cleaning.
