Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) Flexible Schedule, Short Term Acute Care Facility, Level III Trauma Center The position involves providing acute care therapy services in a busy trauma center setting. The role requires self-direction, teamwork, and the ability to adapt across various inpatient units, with opportunities to work with diverse patient populations including orthopedics, trauma, CVA, and cardiac cases.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State license, at least 1 year of experience in acute care, proficiency with Epic charting system, certifications in BLS
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in all settings including ortho, trauma, CVA, amputation, debility, Parkinsons, COPD, cardiac, and other specialties; strong time management skills, team player with initiative to learn EMR and assist patients as needed
• Responsibilities: Providing inpatient physical therapy services, participating in interdisciplinary support teams, assisting with patient mobility and recovery, documenting care in Epic, and helping ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Additional Information: Role requires acute care experience; experience with IPR (Inpatient Rehabilitation) is a bonus; candidates must be self-directed, motivated, and capable of seeing patients on their schedule while contributing to team efforts. Flexibility to float between units is required, and candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced, diverse clinical environment.
